Format Date to String

• If you use the stardard XPath date/time functions to create a date-string, LiveCycle will use "canonical" data-time format, which is an internal format and not very user-friendly. This operation allows a date-time to be formatted into a user-defined format.
• You wish to embed a deadline date-time into an email, and want it in a human-readable format.
• You need the date or date/time value in a specific format to pass to web service call.
• A form field needs to be populated with 'Completed Date-time' value just after someone submits a form.

• A sql query returns an invoice amount(133000) and you want to display that value as dollar value($133,000.00) in an email body.
