Add or Update Principal (User/Group) to Policy
|
Adds or updates a principal (user or group) to a policy. Allows permissions for the principal to be specified. If the specified principal already exists, it will perform update.
Why use it
- LiveCycle ES Rights Management does not have a service to apply specific rights to a principal, this can only be done through Adminui.
- This operation allows you to add a principal to a policy, and specify that principal's rights, such as whether they can view offline, copy to the clipboard, or print.

Removes a principal from a policy.
Why use it
- The LiveCycle ES Rights Management component does not include a service to remove a principal from a policy - this can only be done using Adminui.
- This operation allows you to remove a principal from a policy as a step in a process.
