SmartForms now available to all NSW Councils
SmartForms are Adobe PDF forms that are customizable for Councils. Used to replace the old ‘print and fill’ forms, they are interactive and easy to complete online by customers.
“Local SmartForms” – now available to all NSW Councils - combine these features with extra functions, such as processing and payment facilities. It is a shared suite of interactive PDF forms developed by Avoka specifically for Councils and their customers.
The Local SmartForms initiative was instigated mid-way through the RTB program to address a growing demand from Councils to collaborate on common online form development. This has now resulted in the development of 17 shared forms – where 42 were used previously. An exceptional outcome that will deliver significant efficiency improvements both for Councils and applicants. More about the Local SmartForms initiative
To align with the National eDA (development application) project, the RTB project also developed a shared Development Application for NSW Councils. More about the eDA project
A forum on this topic is being held in Sydney on 25 September 2007. This free forum is intended to assist Councils to escalate their SmartForm usage and to share ideas and experiences. As well as important updates on the Local SmartForms initiative, there will be participatory sessions to help identify ways to leverage your investment in this service.
