Mobile Enabled Solution for Department of Immigration and Citizenship Wins Award!

Avoka are pleased to announce that an Avoka solution deployed for Department of Immigration and Citizenship, has won a Secretary’s Australia Day Citation from the Department's Secretary, Andrew Metcalfe. The award is for a recent mobile-ready solution implemented by Avoka.

The Department is often in a location where there is no connectivity and this solution provides pre-populated forms to interviewers working ‘in the field’, in remote locations, using a smart tablet - whether or not they can connect to a network. The mobile-enabled solution works off-line and has now been employed in many situations. When the worker is reconnected to the network the data they have collected is submitted, via LiveCycle Process Management, and directly updates a central database, completing an end-to-end process even at a distance and without connectivity.

Today the solution is a one or two day process where under the previous paper workflow it regularly took two to three weeks.
