ATB Innovation Challenge Winner – June 2017

KPMG and Matchi announced Avoka won the ATB Financial’s Customer Onboarding Global Innovation Challenge in June 2017.  The challenge attracted more than 50 entries from 14 different countries including Australia, Canada, Czech Republic, Hong Kong, India, Israel, Russia, South Africa, United Kingdom and the United States. All challenge responses went through an intense process of validation, scoring, and evaluation to a shortlist of six finalists. From there, the final judging panel unanimously selected Avoka as the solution which was the most aligned to the bank’s current onboarding focus areas.

Finnie for “Excellence in Establishing Market Presence: Global” – May 2017

Avoka beat two other highly respected finalists to win an inaugural Finnie award in the “Excellence in Establishing Market Presence: Global” category. This award recognizes the fintech company that has most successfully expanded its presence and identity globally. Avoka’s nomination centered on an integrated global marketing strategy that highlights the ability of its cloud-based platform to accelerate delivery of outstanding customer experiences and bring agile account openings, loan applications, and account onboarding to market in record time.

Best of Show at Barlow Business Banking Conference – May 2017

In May, Avoka was awarded the Innovation Showcase Best in Show Award for its Digital Business Bank Onboarding Case Study at the Barlow Research Business Banking Conference. Barlow’s annual forum brings together bankers and innovation officers from the most prestigious US financial institutions that market financial services to business banking customers. The Innovation Showcase is designed to spotlight new business solutions through demos and presentations. Attendees then vote for the Best in Show.

Top 10 Banking Cloud Solution Provider – April 2017

In April, we were selected by Banking CIO Outlook as a Top10 Banking Cloud Solution Provider. The award recognizes the acceptance and results Avoka has achieved in the past year in delivering cloud-based customer acquisition solutions for the largest 100 banks worldwide. The fastest growing portion of our business uses cloud-based installations to address the account opening and onboarding portion of the bank’s customer journey.  We have solved the rigorous security, compliance, localization, and redundancy requirements demanded by global banks. In 2016, we announced certification by Amazon Web Services, earning AWS Financial Services Competency for its proven bank installations.

2017 FinTech Business Software Services Innovator of the Year – February 2017

In February, we were named Software Service Innovator of the Year at the FinTech Business awards ceremony. Over 300 nominations were received for the 18 awards, with the winners selected by a panel of expert judges from a pool of 125 finalists, indicating the strength of Australia’s fintech sector. The award recognizes outstanding innovation and entrepreneurship in Fintech.

XCelent Awards for Service & Breadth of Functionality – October 2016

In October, Avoka won two XCelent awards for service and functionality. According to research firm Celent, we won the XCelent Award for Service due to our “exceptionally strong customer service feedback, demonstrably effective implementation strategies, and value realization program”. The Breadth of Functionality award, Celent said, reflected Avoka Transact’s “broad product support, shopping cart construct, and excellent dashboard and analytics capabilities”. The awards were based on Celent’s evaluation of omnichannel customer acquisition vendors in the banking sector with the focus on functionality, technology, customer service, and customer base.
